After Blériot Pégoud plesently surprised me as it flies and has reasonable flight characteristics, I decided at the end of 2004 to build another model of this size for indoor flying. My choice was Pietenpol AirCamper, in USA and elsewhere quite popular "homebuild" from thirties. This airplane has for the first look all the premises to be modelled.
Basic parameters are: wingspan 400mm, length 255mm, wing area of 2,88dm2. Flight weight of the model is 26g. As a drive unit I used GB32 by Ing. Štefan Gašparín. It consist of miniature dc motor and gearbox. RC equipment is selected considering the weight and consists of receiver Penta Light by MZK, controller MSC 1-145 and linear magnegic doubleservo MCA3-D by Microinvent. Both motor and RC equipment are powered by single LiPol cell 145mAh.
